THE STUDIO
Housed in a unique loft conversion in the heart of Toronto’s Roncesvalles, THE FACULTY is the private studio of visual effects artist & colourist Daniel J. Kelly. Originally from the UK Daniel is an internationally renowned artist, commercial director & published photographer whose work has served a high-end dedicated commercial client base across London, New York, Los Angeles, Montreal and Toronto.
Led by Daniel, The Faculty works as a creative collaborative and our roster of freelance artists provides us the opportunity to curate our teams per the individual needs of every project. This adaptability keeps our overheads low but our team unique to the specific requirements for your creative while ensuring both the final result, and your experience when in session, meets your very highest expectations.
Our commercial client suite houses the very latest Autodesk Flame for high-end commercial finishing and online, Davinci Resolve for colour grading, Final Cut, Avid & Premier for editorial. We access the latest in animation toolsets via the individual disciplines of our roster of artists that provide us access to the highest talents for matte painting, 3D animation, fluid dynamics, illustration and motion design.
Our in-house studio is equipped with both continuous and strobe lighting for product, editorial and commercial shoots. It is perfect for tabletop production, packshots and small fashion or editorial purposes and we have access to a range of larger studios should a project require a larger space.
